Marcie Lichi

Early in her career, she was the director of a Child Development Center and Montessori School located at Evangel Temple in Akron, Ohio.

She currently serves as a volunteer for Faithful Servants Care Center, a free medical clinic for those who have no medical insurance.  She is able to translate for many Spanish-speaking patients.

Marcie is a lover of the outdoors and takes pleasure in gardening, as well as hiking the many trails throughout NE Ohio.   She also very much enjoys working with horses and trail riding.  She and her husband, Don love to travel and in 2018 they completed 110 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.  They both dream of returning to complete the last 100 miles of this famous pilgrimage trail.

She is married to Dr. Don Lichi, celebrating 51 years of marriage in April of this year.  They have 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren they love to spend time with.

“As Don and I enter the “golden years” of our lives, we find ourselves looking back and appreciating even more God’s love for us and His faithfulness in keeping His promises from the time when we chose to follow Him as teenagers.  He continues to call us even in the present to a deeper walk with Him, transforming us through the work of the Holy Spirit into becoming more like His Son. Our desire is to honor and glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to continue to grow in grace and knowledge of Him so that we may share the good news of knowing Jesus with those who need Him.”
