Assemblies of God Ministerial Credentials
Obtaining credentials with the Assemblies of God requires a combination of course work and practical experience. Specifically, obtaining credentials requires a process of application, and exam, and an interview. Applications are made through each district office, but the minister is recognized as a credentialed minister with the The General Council of the Assemblies of God as a whole as well as a minister within our Network.

2024-2025 Credential Applicants
If you are ready to begin the credential application process, please fill out and submit the Pre-Application Form below after reading through the Credential Handbook. This applies to anyone applying for a certificate, license, or license upgrade. Those interested in ordination should refer to the Handbook for the process and timeline of ordination.

EDUCATION
If you are looking for avenues to complete your educational requirements in order to apply for credentialing, we recommend any of our endorsed Assemblies of God colleges, Berean courses through Global University, Pathway training, or the Certificate of Ministry Training Program through Trinity Bible College.
